Biography

Eigil Nordstrøm (b. 1991 in Trondheim, Norway) moved to the UK to study for an undergraduate degree at The Art Academy in London, followed by a Masters of Fine Art at City & Guilds of London Art School. He was subsequently awarded the inaugural ArtGemini Prize in 2014. He undertook the two year Turps Studio Progamme, while also lecturing at the Bachelor programme in visual arts at The Art Academy in London from 2013 to 2022. His works have been exhibited in the UK, Norway, Sweden and the US. He has also initiated several curatorial projects, most notably L2O22NDON at Galleri Ismene in Trondheim, and Weathering the Storm at A.P.T. Gallery in London and K-U-K in Trondheim.
